2025 RAM 1500 REV: General Features

Built on the STLA platform, the 2025 RAM 1500 REV will turn heads with its striking, avant-garde design that speaks volumes about its capabilities. It will be available in six trims: Tradesman, Sport, Big Horn, Laramie, Limited, and the brand-new Tungsten trim.

Notable features include a stylized grille and a unique front light signature with fork-shaped headlights and an illuminated RAM logo; sizable taillights complete the design. Additionally, this truck offers a front trunk with a capacity of 15 cubic feet, the largest in its class.

We don't know all the stylistic details of this new RAM electric pickup, which will hit the market in Fall 2024, but we can already say that the manufacturer has hit the bull's-eye with its new model.

The performance of this new electric RAM pickup will leave you speechless! Indeed, its powerful electric powertrain generates 654 horsepower/620 lb-ft of torque; can you imagine what that's like? This power enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds!

Furthermore, the RAM 1500 REV will be able to tow up to 6,350 kg (14,000 pounds) and will have a maximum payload of 771 kg, or 1,700 pounds.

In terms of range, it can reach 560 kilometers on a single charge if the truck is equipped with the standard 168 kWh battery. You will also be able to opt for a 229 kWh battery in 2025, available as an option, and enjoy a range of nearly 800 kilometers.

Additionally, the RAM REV can recover 177 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes when using a level 3 charging station; charging at level 1 or 2 stations is also possible.

2025 Ramcharger: General Features

In the coming months, we will also see the debut of a brand-new electric RAM pickup with a range extender: the 2025 Ramcharger! Also built on the new STLA architecture designed specifically for full-size electric models, this RAM electric truck with an internal combustion generator will offer a range of over 1,000 kilometers!

Few details have been revealed so far regarding this model; however, we know it will be offered in the following trims: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Limited, and Tungsten, and it is expected to hit the Canadian market in early 2025.

A stylish blend between the gasoline-powered RAM 1500 and the RAM REV, the 2025 RAM 1500 Ramcharger will captivate you at first glance with its modern front bumper in the same color as the body, a feature that sets it apart from other RAM products.

Additionally, the Ramcharger will be equipped with headlights and taillights specifically designed for electric vehicles; we can also note its well-designed, sizable wheels and muscular, bold silhouette, which contribute to making it a truly unique truck.

As mentioned earlier, the Ramcharger boasts a staggering range, estimated at 1,100 kilometers, placing it at the top of its class.

Moreover, its performance is nothing to scoff at, as it features an electric motor delivering 663 horsepower/615 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to achieve the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.4 seconds. In addition to that, it will be possible to recover up to 80 kilometers of all-electric range in just 10 minutes by opting for continuous rapid charging at 400 V (maximum power of 145 kW).

And like the RAM REV, it offers a towing capacity of 14,000 lb; however, its payload, which peaks at 2,625 pounds, is the highest in its class.

Other highly interesting features of the 2025 RAM 1500 Ramcharger include its bidirectional vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home charging, which allows it to charge another Stellantis battery electric vehicle or even power your home during a power outage.

Note also that this truck is equipped with a 92-kWh battery pack paired with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, serving only to power the integrated 130 kW alternator.
